I like being in a car at night
especially in the side areas of the city
with the houses. Neighborhoods.
Because I love getting to drive by
and merely looking at each individual house
just so I can see if people are home or not,
and if they are
where inside they're at
based on what lights are on.

For whatever reason
it eases my heart.
